Risk Zoning of Flooded Area Land in Lower Beaches of the Weihe River
The way of land use, floodwater and watercourse variance are all the important factors of land risk because of the special location of the flooded area. Several risk zones are identified based on the statistical data of population, society, and economy, which show that (i) extra serious disaster zone, serious disaster zone and disaster zone are farther from the riverway axes gradually; (ii) the reverse order for the area of the above different zones is extra serious disaster zone, serious disaster zone and disaster zone; (iii) the exterior boundary of safe zone, disaster zone and serious disaster zone, extra serious disaster zone of a-hundred-year-return-period is farther than that of a-fifty-year-return-period.
