The Application of GIS in Grassland Fire Disaster Risk Management

摘要：

The grassland fire disasters have occurred frequently in the resent years. They have deeply influenced the development of national economy. Because grassland fire disasters broke out frequently to damage or destroy many objects nearby, the grassland fire disaster risk management has become the important content and means for grassland fire assessment and management. The study analyzed the advantages of GIS application in grassland fire disaster risk management for discussion of GIS functions and effect in grassland fire disaster risk management. Based on GIS technology and natural disaster risk assessment theory, the study improved the holistic design project for grassland fire disaster risk management. The research found that this system could offer dynamic forecasting information and decision-making support. It was a very useful tool with great practicality for grassland fire disaster risk management and emergency supervision.
