Water Environmental Health Risk Assessment for Main Rivers of Hunan

The present paper introduces the authors research of the water environmental health risk assessment for the main rivers of the Hunan Province, based on the model for water environmental health risk analysis recommend by USEPA and the monitoring data during year 2005. The result shows that the maximal annual risk of health for individual person due to non carcinogens by drinking approach is Pb. The maximal annual risk of health for individual person due to chemical carcinogens by drinking approach is As. The risk of health for individual person caused by chemical carcinogens is far more than non-carcinogens.
