Intelligent Diagnosis System of Terrorist Behavior Tendency in Urban Public
These years greater concern is shown over the possibility of a terrorist attack, as the premeditated and organized violence is posing a greater threat to the public security. Based on an analysis of characteristics of urban security, the authors of the article explore the Diagnosis System of Terrorist Behavior Tendency in Urban Public (IDS), which detects and analyzes the three physiological parameters: skin-electricity reaction (SER), rhythm of the heart (RH), and the infrared ray temperature (IRT), so as to identify the physiological states and the behavior characteristics of the testees, and eventually, to tell apart the normal passengers from the potentially dangerous ones. All these procedures only take about dozens of seconds. As a new interdisciplinary approach to the worldwide antiterrorist combat, IDS is an active early-warning system that is free from the shortcomings and passiveness of the conventional safety control measures.
