Science and Technology Innovation of Universities and the Construction of Innovation-oriented City in China

摘要：

Universities play a pivotal role in the construction of innovation-oriented city. This paper analyzes three kinds of roles of university and science, and technology innovation of university in the construction of innovation-oriented city, namely the important basis of the citys independent innovation, the main base of fostering innovative talents of city, the guider of innovative culture of city. The paper emphatically analyzes the current status of the roles of Chinese universities in the citys science and technology innovation. On this basis, the paper discusses how to bring Chinese universities into full play in the citys science and technology innovation and how to promote the construction of innovation- oriented city.
