An Analysis of Harmony of Knowledge Management Based on Systems Theory
In knowledge-based economy, knowledge is identified as the main and most strategically important resource of the firm and the dynamic management of this resource affords firms sustained competitive advantage. However, knowledge management is a complex, systematic activity involving a variety of factors at different levels. An analysis of knowledge management based on systems theory can enhance understanding and the ability of knowledge management initiatives to respond to the needs of the organization. Using ideas from systems theory, we divide knowledge management framework into three parts: human capital, information capital and systems capital. Further, an analysis of harmony of the knowledge management framework is presented.
