A Metagraph Model for Supply Chain Based on Activity Chain

摘要：

The concept of activity-based management was introduced into supply chain management. A supply chain was viewed as a whole which consisted of a series of closely interconnected activities. Then the supply chain was analyzed by activity-based management method, and a metagraph model for supply chain based on the activity chain was built up. This modeling method has the characteristics of both formalization and visualization. It is helpful for the enterprise to take control on the nodes throughout the entire supply chain from the perspective of the work flows, and provides a means to conduct quantitative analysis of supply chain in a systematic way.
