The Governmental Role in the Construction of the Technological Innovation System in Transportation Industry
Transportation industry is a kind of monopolistic industry which is for the public welfare. In constructing the technological innovation system in this field, the leading position of the government acting as the provider of public products should be validated firmly. In this paper, the issue of how government exercises its domination upon the process of constructing the technical innovation system in transportation industry is investigated on the basis of the analysis of governmental advancing patterns and the consideration of the characteristics of transportation industry.
