Next Generation Lab-on-a-Chip Systems: Cells, Proteins and Direct Sensing
LOC and microfluidic systems have matured greatly in the past decade and are now finding their way into commercial applications where their impact is expected to improve current processes in a wide range of fields. Scaling device dimensions down to the nanometer scale reveal many interesting physical phenomena and may lead to new and sensitive detection methods and devices.
