Squeezing-Sucking Driven Microfluidic PCR Device Based on Microfabricated PDMS Pneumatic Valves
A squeezing-sucking driven microfluidic polymerase chain reaction (PCR) system was developed based on microfabricated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) pneumatic valves, and rapid cycling in a closed loop was achieved. When using 2.6μL reaction chambers, 1 second sufficed the transfer of the sample between two temperature zones. By using this system, a 200bp fragment from SEA DNA was successfully amplified within 23min.
