Studies on the Reaction between Vitamin B6 and Bovine Serum Albumins by Flow Injection Renewable Drops Fluorimetry
Under the physiological condition of body, the interaction between vitamin B<,6> (VB<,6>) and bovine serum albumin (BAS) was investigated by flow injection renewable drops fluorimetry and ultraviolet absorbance (UV). The experimental results showed that VB<,6> quenches the fluorescence of BAS by forming a new complex. The quench belonged to static fluorescence quenching, with non-radiation energy transfer happening within single molecule. The binding constants were determined from a double reciprocal Lineweaver-Burk curves. The binding constants were obtained according to Forsters non- radiation energy transfer mechanism. The binding force between VB<,6> and BSA was inferred by thermo- dynamical coordination. It was shown that VB<,6> depended principally on van der Waals force to bind with BSA.
