Microfluidic Electrochromatography for Rapid Chiral Recognition
In this presentation, a microfluidic strategy with open tubular electrochromatography for rapid chiral recognition was demonstrated by modifying the channel surface of a glass chip with avidin that acted as the immobile phase for enantiomer selection. Amino acids were chosen as model samples to evaluate the applicability of this novel method. Several parameters that influenced chiral selectivity were optimized. The established method was further compared with microfluidic electrophoresis.
