Electrofusion and Culture of Protoplasts in Microfluidic Device and Delivery of Cells by Passive Pumping System
The microfluidic device for electrofusion and culture of protoplasts was fabricated by using softlithography (for microchannel) and e-beam evaporation process (for electrode). The cells were transported by passive pumping method relying on surface tension. We have electrofused two cells which are Peucedanum japonicum protoplasts Glehnia littoralis protoplasts inside the PDMS based microfluidic channel.
