Xml-based supply chain logistic system simulation modeling language
Different from previous utility of XML,we use XML as a meta-language to support the simulation modeling of supplying chain logistic system. The supplying chain logistic system simulation modeling language (SCLML) is a standard interchange format to enable data sharing. It is defined by incorporating the following goals: object orientation, flexibility, extensibility, software independence,cross-platform availability, accessibility, ease of adoption, compactness, and methodology independence. The motivation for developing a supply-chain modeling language stems from the benefits to both model utility and realism of the simulation modeling. The SCLML file can be mapped to simulation classes contained in a supply chain simulation class library, resulting in an object-oriented simulation model of the supply chain.
