Knowledge Management Platform for Innovation in Small & Middle Business
Innovation is the key factor of the firms competences. But most innovation relies on skilled persons. There are no enough skilled persons in most small & middle businesses (SMBs) are a severe problem that restricts their developments. By studying on the knowledge management with innovations,a simple and effective knowledge management platform has been constructed for collecting knowledge of innovation;it consists of knowledge creation,transformation and application and is running together with business operation systems supported by information technology. It can collect knowledge both from employees and from data by data mining. It builds an effective knowledge management system to share skills and experiences in the company. Its application in a Chinese company shows that the framework of knowledge management platform can be applied efficiently in innovation activity.
