Quantitative analysis of residential electricity consumption
Household electricity consumption has increasingly been boosting along with the swift growth of electric consumption of the whole society during the past 20 years. The paper analyses the relationship between the household electricity consumption and its main influencing factors,and sets up a multiple regression analytical model by using statistical software. The results indicate that main factors affecting the household electricity consumption per capita are electricity price and peoples per capita income. These factors increased the quantity of residential electricity consumption to a large extent,and brought about a corresponding change in the electricity consumption pattern. The variation of power consumption pattern can be explained by calculation of elasticity coefficient of the household electricity consumption in China.
