Study on IT-based ways of promoting team innovation
In the 1990s,innovation was regarded as the main resource of competitive advantage for firms replacing efficiency and quality. The main method of innovation that has been used by organizations for many years is team innovation. With the rapid development and wide application of advanced information technology,more and more scholars and new product development practitioners show their interests in team innovation supported by information systems. It has been the_key issue in the field of management and information technology that we make use of information systems to support team innovation currently. This paper studies IT-based ways of promoting team innovation. The process of task oriented team innovation and Team Innovation Support System (TISS) is proposed. The framework of Team Innovation Support System is analyzed.
