Research on Heating Scope of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Plant
Compilation Stipulation on heat-electricity cogeneration program (trial implementation) published recently says, Under the condition of reasonable technical economy, heat resource shall be concentrated as far as possible. By merging of thermal region, enlarging the heating scope of regional plant and enterprise-owned thermoelectric power plant, the program planning of CHP plant can be enlarged. The benefits of enlarging the heating scope of CHP plant are just as follows: enlarging heating area and heating quantity, reducing heat resource, simplifying layout. It is possible for the thermal power plant to site far from urban district, thus to reduce environmental protection pressure. This paper discusses factors relating to the determination of heating scope of CHP plant: the layout of heat resource, the transportation of thermal medium, the temperature drop and pressure drop of thermal medium, and suggestions on CHP plant heating scope are also presented.
