A Performance Detection System for Steam Turbine-units Based on Universal Kernel Modules and Configuration
In this paper, a new solution based on universal kernel modules combined with a configuration platform is proposed. This solution can not only make the development process period of the detection system shorter, but also the system will be more reliable and more accurate. The input information of the universal kernel module in the performance detection system is the steam and water parameters on different operating conditions from the steam turbine heat balance diagrams. In the kernel module a series of the calculation and data treatment will be carried out which includes the thermal system calculations on off-design condition, the equivalent heat drop calculations, energy losses analysis, and the fitting of the correction curves of the important operating parameters of boilers and turbines, such as the main steam, reheat steam, the exhaust steam, etc. All functions of the system, including economic operating optimization, can be realized on the configuration platform which is connected with a database.
