Deactivation Effect of Different Components From Coal-fired Flue Gas on DeNOx Activity of V2O5-WO3/TiO2 Catalyst
Experimental investigation of different poisons, including alkali metal oxide (K2O), alkali earth metal oxide (CaO), heavy metal oxides (PbO and ZnO), was conducted to study their effects on DeNOx activity of V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst and found K2O can poison catalyst most severely, ZnO and CaO can deactivate the catalyst moderately, CaO can decrease its activity slightly. In addition, BET, XRD and SEM were employed to characterize the catalysts and discuss the mechanism of poison effect. The sequence of poisoning effect is K2OZnO≈ PbO CaO.
