Experimental Study on Simultaneous Desulfurization and Denitrification by Highly Active Absorbent
To reduce the cost of the flue gas purification, developing new techniques and equipments of simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification are significant trend in the field of the flue gas purification. In this paper, simultaneous removal of SO2 and NO from flue gas using the highly active absorbent prepared from Fly ash, lime and a few oxidizing M additive was studied under different experimental conditions. The effect of influencing factors on removal efficiencies for SO2 and NO were investigated in detail and the optimal experimental conditions were determined. The optimal reaction temperature, additive quantity and Ca/(S+N) molar ratio with this process were shown to be approximately 60℃,1.6%, and 1.2,respectively. Removal efficiencies of 93.7% for SO2 and 65.5% for NO were obtained under the optimal experimental conditions mentioned above, respectively. The valuable references can be provided for industrial application by this process. The foreground of application will be vast in china and in the world.
