Experimental Study on CFBC Co-combustion of Municipal Solid Wastes and Oil Shale

Based on the technology characteristic, theory research, experimental results and engineer application of municipal solid wastes(MSW)and coal co-combustion for circulating fluidized bed boiler (CFBB), and the analyses about the fuel and combustion characteristic of oil shale, the experiment and study scheme of MSW and oil shale co-combustion for circulating fluidized bed boiler combustion(CFBC) is presented in this paper. Co-combustion experimental work conditions are prearranged ground on the different co-combustion ratio of MSW and oil shale, the different Ca/S molar ratio and the change of bed temperature. In order to assure the stabilization of the combustion, the uniform temperature field along the height of the bed and the whole loop of circulation ash will be supposed, which is required to adjust the primary and secondary air flow and the flow rate of the fuel. Based on the beforehand layout experimental projects, the test result could be predicted, which the pollution discharge amount of SO2、NO、HCl could be reduced and controlled to satisfy the emission standard of nation contamination, and it can satisfy with the furnace stabilization combustion and increase the combustion efficiency.
