Analysis of the Internal Working Process in Biomass Pyrolysis Fluidized-bed Reactor
The internal working process in the biomass pyrolysis reactor using the fluidized-bed device is very complex, and it has numerous influence factors. The main factor is how to calculate and control the heating rate and the flow rate of the biomass particles. Adopting the fluidized-bed device, the higher heating rate and better heat transfer effect can be obtained. Otherwise, the larger quantity of treating amount of feedstock can be easily achieved, and the environmental pollution is very small, so this biomass pyrolysis reactor is environmental protection equipment. In this paper, a fluidized-bed reactor was designed and some experiments were carried out. According to the biomass materiel used in the experiments and the conditions required in pyrolysis process, this paper used the equations of unsteady heat conduction and gas-solid two-phase flow to analyze and calculate the reaction process, the calculating method about the heating rate and the flow rate of the biomass particles in the given condition were presented, as well as the controlling measures of the particles’ velocity. The results showed that this design was successful. The study provides a theoretical foundation for the design and operation of the biomass pyrolysis fluidized-bed reactor.
