Effect of Land Use Change on Soil Erosion of Yangbijiang River Watershed in Yunnan Province
The Land Use data were obtained by complex analysis of 3S, then GIS spatial analysis and traditional statistical analysis were employed in creating new GRID databases with complex data through algebra operations of the maps in GRID format under the GRID Modular of GIS software; secondly, data of land use transfer matrix during the research period and the data of soil erosion on deferent land use types were obtained through statistical calculation of the new-created attribute table; thirdly, the integrated soil erosion index was calculated to show soil erosion degree and its change in different land use types. The results showed that the effect of soil erosion degree on tilth, woodland and grassland was larger than on the other land use types; the degree of soil erosion was relieved by the transformation from the other land use types to woodland and grassland; on the contrary, the degree of soil erosion was aggravated by the transformation from the other land use types to tilth.
