Present Status Analysis and Forecasting of Harbin City Ambient Atmosphere Quality

According to the atmosphere quality data of Harbin during 2002-2006 and after investigation and evaluation of the present atmosphere quality status of Harbin, this paper analyzes the cause and the annual concentration variation tendency of SO2, NO2 and PM10 which are Harbins main air contaminants. After that, a Grey Model GM(1,1) based on grey system theory is used to predict the atmosphere quality of Harbin before 2010. The result shows that the air quality of Harbin is being improved. The annual average concentrations of SO2 , NO2 , PM10 will all meet Grade 2 of the Ambient Air Quality Standard and the local governmental advised standard by 2010.
