Screening a Novel High Effective Linear Sodium Alkylbenzenesulfonate Degradation Strain
A bacterial strain was obtained through the screening experiments of decomposition of Linear Sodium Alkybenzenesulfonate (LAS), which had high degradability for LAS and was named Xiawg-1. The gene sequence obtained from the DNA extraction and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification was compared with NCBI Genbank of U.S.A., and the strain was preliminary identified to be Enterobacter sp. The optimum growth conditions was pH 7.5, 30℃, 150r/min, 50mL/250mL (liquid volumes/flask volumes). When the LAS concentration was above 600mg/L, Xiawg-1s LAS degradation ratio decreased with the increase of the LAS concentration. The strain had a good tolerance to metal ions, but some heavy metal ions were harmful to it. Xiawg-1 had a clear law of growth. The strain had strong adaptability to the environmental conditions, which showed it was a high effective LAS degradation strain and had better application prospects in wastewater treatment.
