Experimental Study on Denitrification by the Co-processes of Bio-fluidized Bed and Activated Sludge Filtering Bed
The experimental study on denitrificaiton of nitrogenous organic wastewater using the co-processes of bio-fluidized bed plus activated sludge filter bed which formed in gas-liquid-solid separating zone was carried out. Experimental results showed that: (1) Non-suppressed nitrification bacteria group by carbon sources was reproduced in the Bio-fluidized bed system, which in turn contributed to the NH4+-N removal efficiency of up to 93%-95%; (2) Dynamic and stable sludge filter was formed in the gas-liquid-solid separating zone by the setting of incline-tube and the controlling of precipitation mud condition, which leaded to the dramatically improving of TN removal rate; (3) 85% BOD5 removal efficiency and 74% TN removal efficiency was achieved under the operation conditions of HRT of 1.5h, aeration of 0.25 m3· h-1, BOD5 load of 9.2-10.4 m-3·d-1 and TN load of 0.65 kg·m-3·d-1.
