Enzyme Activities in Petroleum Polluted Soil of Shengli Oilfield, China

In order to find the enzyme activity indicator to reflect the soil physical and chemical properties, microbial quantity and the polluted degree of the soil, the physical and chemical properties, petroleum hydrocarbon content, microbial quantity and enzyme activities of different depth levels oily sludge polluted soil in a united station of Shengli oilfield were measured in this experiment. The study showed that soil physical and chemical property, petroleum hydrocarbon, microbial quantity changed with the depth. Employing canonical correlation method, relationships among soil enzyme activities and soil physical and chemical property, petroleum hydrocarbon and microbial quantity were studied in this paper. The results indicated that soil enzyme activity significantly correlated with soil physical and chemical property, petroleum hydrocarbon, microbial quantity, except for the polyphenol oxidase enzyme.
