Reclamation of Crude Oil from Oilfield Sludge

Oilfield sludge contains much crude oil, and the annual output is also higher. If the crude oil is recovered, it will not only solve environmental problems but also save energy sources. The oilfield sludge of Daqing Oil Extraction Plant is studied in laboratory, and the composition of the oilfield sludge is analyzed by weight method. The crude oil is recovered through washing the oilfield sludge with heated Na2CO3-solution. The conditions of crude oil recovered are researched, and the recovery of crude oil is up to 98％ at the optimal conditions. .Low cost and reuse of alkaline and high economic benefits are the advantages of this method.
