Retention Behavior of 2, 4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid and 2-Methyl-4-chlorophenxyacetic Acid on Molecularly Imprinted Polymers
The synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) based on ion-pair interaction has been proposed. In this method, the acidities of template and analog play an important role when the structure of analyte is similar to that of the template molecule. 2, 4- dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2, 4-D) and 2-methyl-4- chlorophenxyacetic acid (MCPA) with different acidity were imprinted and selectivity evaluated by HPLC for each acid on each imprinted polymer. The data obtain from chromatographic experiments indicates the evidence for the acidity selectivity in ion-pair interaction imprinted polymers.
