Storage Stability of Pesticide Residues Under Different Conditions
Stability of stored samples plays an important role in the process of pesticide residue analysis. It is of great importance for residue analysts to know what happened during storage of different pesticide- contaminated samples. Limited information was found in literature and reports about storage stability of pesticide residue in crops and crop extracts. As the storage time prolonged, many pesticides easily degraded for various reasons that would lead to false results and affect the proper evaluation. Therefore, the study of storage stability is urgent for insuring how long time the pesticides can still be valid in order to obtain reasonable results. To carry out QA/QC in the lab, it was necessary to evaluate the effect of storage period and temperature on the stability of pesticide residue.
