Determination of Fungicide Azoxystrobin Residues in Soil
A simple method is presented for determinion of azoxystrobin residues in soil with GC-ECD. The sample was extracted by acetone and then further partitioned by dichloromethane and petroleum ether. The extracts were then cleaned up by the glass clean-up column filled with active charcoal and silica gel. The column loaded with sample was eluted by dichloromethane and ethyl acetate(70:30,v/v). The eluate was collected and concentrated for GC-ECD analysis. The result of assay showed a good linearity(r2 =0. 999 8) over the concentration range of 6. 25-400 ng/mL. The limit of detection and quantification of azoxystrobin is 3 ng/mL and 10 ng/mL respectively. The recoveries for the sample were in the range 83. 52%-107.36% with relative standard deviation(RSD)of 5. 21%-9. 11% for 10-2 000 ng/g concentrations. It was demonstrated that the method was a convenient, accurate, and sensitive method, which is particularly suitable for determination of azoxystrobin residue in soil.
