Design, Synthesis and Fungicidal Activity of SYP-3343
The discovery, synthesis, biological activities, toxicological properties of (E)-methyl 2-(2-((3-(4- chlorophenyl)-1-methyl-1 H-pyrazol-5-yloxy) methyl) phenyl)-3-methoxyacrylate (experimental code SYP- 3343) were introduced in this paper. SYP-3343 was synthesized from 1-(4-chlorophenyl) ethanone as starting material via several steps including cyclization and condensation. The structures of SYP- 3343 and the intermediates were confirmed by NMR, IR, et al. The biological activity test results show that SYP-3343 has good fungicidal activities against downy mildew, rice blast, powdery mildew, anthracnose and so on, and were better than those of the standards. SYP-3343 also showed certain insecticidal and acaricidal activities, which enable it to control plant diseases and pest insects at the same time. Currently SYP-3343 is under development by SYRICI.
