THE CASE STUDY OF STRAIGHTENING FRACTURE FOR W4MO3CR4VSI LOW ALLOY HIGH SPEED STEEL
W4Mo3Cr4VSi low-alloy high speed steel has excellent capability, and has good feedback from consumers, which lead to sell well. Whereas, the phenomenon of straightening fracture had usually occurred, but the annealing hardness was not high for W4Mo3Cr4VSi low-alloy high speed steel, this fracture had caused prodigious economic loss. In this paper, the phenomenon of straightening fracture of W4Mo3Cr4VSi low-alloy high speed steel has been classed, and the reason has analyzed and discussed. Finally, it is suggested that the design of chemical elements affected the range of temperature and texture, which was the reason of the straightening fracture of W4Mo3Cr4VSi low-alloy high speed steel.
