Multi-goal Control of Halo-Chaos in Beam Transport Networks with SW/SF

We have proposed some effective control methods of halo-chaos in the traditional beam transport networks(BTN),including non-linear feedback control,wavelet function feedback,various adaptation control,time.Delayed feedback,variable structure control,neural network feedback,soliton feedback so on,since 2000.What are newly progresses in this field?From a viewpoint of complex networks.The BTN is a large class of regular complex networks (lattice)which consists of many electromagnetic focusing elements,such as periodic focusing magnetic channels.Now,our motivation for this work is how to use recent discoveries of complex networks--the small world(SW)eflfect and scale-free(SF)property to develop newest strategies for multi-goal controlling or clustering synchronizing chaos in different local regions of complex networks.If we take the BTN as a typical chaotic network.We will integrate the research of complex dynamics network synchronization and control to find new control and synchronous methods of halo.Chaos in the BTN wim SW or SF topology.To do so,we firstly compare the synchronizabilitv Of the two SW models,which one was proposed by Watts and Strogatz (WS)(1998)and the other is so-called SD(same degree of an nodes) network proposed by our group10,11.Furthermore,we investigate the eflfects on control Of BTN-SW and BTN.SF respectively.In previous work.We have proved that only nonlinear feedback methods can realize the control of beam halo-chaos in the traditional BTN without any SW or SF topology.That means that linear feedback method can never realize control of halo-chaos in the traditional BTN without any SW/SF topology.However.It is found12-16 that for a global linear coupling network using suitable local linear feedback and white noise driving can realize synchronization and contr01 of halo-chaos if we consider effects of SW and SF on control of BTN-SW and BTN-SF.On the other hands,we can extend a pinning method18 for coupling complex network to realize multi-gOal synchronization and contr01 in different sub-networks of coupling complex network,which is similar to clustering synchronization.We have realized different goals of synchronization and control in different sub-networks of Lorenz chaotic coupling network as well as BTN-SW and BTN-SF,respectively,that is we stabilized multi-equilibrium.Period-1 and chaos.These studies show that the methods above are effective and useful for a large class of chaotic coupling networks since it may provide an effective way for the experimental study and the engineering design Of the chaotic coupling networks as well as it may be potential applications for halo-chaos secure communication in BTN-SW and BTN-SF networks.It is also suitable for controlling any chaotic coupling networks.
