A Synchronization-Based Scheme for Generating Time-Scaling Chaotic Signals
Time-scaling versions of a chaotic signal are often involved in analysis and processing of the chaotic signal. Conventional calculation of the time-scaling chaotic signals often takes much computational load and its accuracy determines application performance. By exploring the generating dynamics, it is found that the chaotic signal and its time-scaling versions correspond to the same dynamical system with different parameters. With this observation, this paper develops an impulsive synchronization-based scheme for calculating the time-scaling chaotic signals. The proposed scheme can produce the scaling signals with higher accuracy and be implemented in analog way. Its application to analysis of chaotic signals is outlined.
