Multiphase Traffic Signal Chaotic Control at Instauration Isolated Intersection
The emergence of chaos could imply the traffic flow is being disordered, and the chaotic traffic flow is the manifestation of disordered traffic state. Fuzzy control method, limited in its principle, is not satisfied to improve the delay time of chaotic flow. In this paper, a method of traffic signal control on chaotic instauration isolated intersection is proposed, and an adaptive controller which uses real time chaotic guide control method is introduced also. The results of simulation based on MATLAB show that, the traffic delay by method of chaotic control is decreased than that by fuzzy control for chaotic traffic flow. Chaotic control method could change the traffic flow into ordered ones, decrease the traffic delay and enlarge the road capacity.
