Cadmium pollution in soils of China

摘要：

The average background Cd concentration in Chinese soil is very low, implying China is a country that is very sensitive to exogenous source of cadmium. Rapid economic growth and the lack of concomitant countermeasures after 1980s, however, have resulted in severe pollution of cadmium in China, especially in east China. The soil pollution status of cadmium in China is reviewed based on published literatures.
