Distribution and speciation of vanadium in the topsoil in Panzhihua mining area

摘要：

By determining the total concentration and chemical speciation, we investigated geochemical distribution, sources and mobility ot vanadium in panzhihua mining area. The results showed that: 1) vanadium in the topsoil came from the dust coming from mining and waste rock dumping; 2) both geochemical mobility and bioavailability of vanadium in the topsoil were high. Therefore, vanadium in the topsoil needs to be monitored on a regular basis in the study area.
