Heavy metal stabilization using construction and demolition residues (CDRs): a preliminary laboratory approach
The capacity of residues from construction and demolition activities (CDRs) for immobilizing heavy metals in contaminated soils was studied. To this end a high number of lixiviation tests have been performed, the results of which being studied to take into account the chemical and mineralogical characteristics of both the original material and the contaminated soil.
