Biological activity modification of soil on application of a long-acting complex fertilizer on contaminated agricultural soil

The influence of a long-acting complex fertilizer was studied on different parameters of biological activity of soil contaminated at different doses. Fertilizer-amended soil contaminated with Zn (600 mg/kg) shows 2. 2 times higher carbon dioxide release rate compared to non-amended soil at a shooting stage of barley in the year of application. The use of fertilizer on contaminated soil with Cd (6 mg/kg), Zn (600 mg/kg) and Cu (390 mg/kg) accordingly stimulates the enzymatic activity of dehydrogenase 1.5-2. 4 times and invertase 1.4-1.9 times in soil compared to variants without fertilizer.
