A METHOD OF INVERSE EVALUATION FOR INTERFACE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT BETWEEN ALUMINIUM ALLOYS AND COOLING WATER
In order to obtain the heat transfer coefficient between the alloys and cooling water, which is affected by a lot of factors and hard to measure, a new method was proposed to make it more feasible. Based on self-designed experiment, the cooling curves of the given position in the aluminum alloy samples were obtained, in virtue of the test and inverse approach, the cooling curves of experiment and simulation were made coincided .Finally, according to the heat flux and surface temperature obtained by simulation, the heat transfer coefficient and its curves with temperature were gained. Based on the results of heat transfer coefficient of aluminum alloy 7050 obtained by the method mentioned above, the characteristic of the heat transfer coefficient curves and the effect of water temperature on heat transfer coefficient was discussed.
