EFFECT ON THE MOVEMENT BEHAVIOR OF NON-METALLIC PARTICLES UNDER ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD
Concerning the problems in the course of non-metallic particles movement in molten Al melt, the research on the movement behavior of non-metallic particles in Al melt have been done in this paper. The results showed that: with the high frequency electromagnetic field intensity Bo =0.067 , the 30um alumina particles in melt inner could reach the edge and be removed within 2s.The results of numerical simulation was in good agreement with the experimental results which validated the rationality of the simulation model.
