Research of Using Abandoned Liquid Propellant N2O4 to Produce Oxalic Acid

Using the discarded liquid propellants N2O4 and cheap starch as the raw materials, the oxalic acid was prepared through hydrolyzing and oxidizing reaction, which has extensively applied foreground. The main effect factors of the reaction were investigated, and the feat craft under the laboratory conditions was acquired. The NOx tail gas adsorption method using the alkali aqueous solution and the acidity urea as absorption liquid was studied. The product was charactered with the melting point and IR spectrum method.
