Study on the Dynamic Mechanical Properties of the PBX

The plane impact experiment was had using the light gas gun experimental device, the pressure curve was measured on different locations, and the pressure curve was simulated using the Lagrangian analysis method, then investigated the mechanical response characters and the attenuation properties of the PBX based on the simulation. The results show that the viscosity effect and the damage effect are the main characters that have the most important influence on the dynamic mechanical response of the PBX.
