Crystal Transition of HNIW in Two Systems of Ethyl Acetate-CHCl3 and DMSO-H20 and Recycling of Solvents
Two systems of Ethyl acetate-CHCl3 and DMSO-H2O for crystal transition of HNIW from α, p-form to E-form in the solvent-nonsolvent method and cooling method, respectively, were studied to investigate the relation between the crystallinity and performance of HNIW. It appeared that we had obtained more reliable results on experiments by means of the solvent- nonsolvent approach, whereas, further research needed for the DMSO-H2O system using the cooling method. Besides, recycling solvents by fractionation in Ethyl acetate-CHCl3 system was also carried out, which has obtained desirable data. Synchronously, the shock-sensitivity of HNIW was determined using a drop hammer apparatus and structures of different crystals of HNIW were identified by infrared spectral analysis.
