Influence of Humidity on the Heat Decomposition Speed of Single-base Propellant
The thermal process measurement experiment of single- base propellant were determinated using Accelerating Rate Calorimetry in the different humidity. The experimental result was discussed and analysed. Find that the shape of experiment sample has the definitive influence on the heat decomposition characteristic measure of single-base propellant. Along with the increment of the degree of humidity, the temperature which propellant begins decomposing gradually becomes shorter, but after the humidity surpasses 84%, the temperature gets higher to some extent, and is lower than which the humidity is 2% although the humidity gets to 92%.
