Research on Blast Effect of Explosive charge in Deep Soil

According to the theory of interactivity of shock wave and media, the calculation models for initial parameters of soil behind shock wave is built and the initial parameters of soil are acquired. With the impact and adiabatic equation, the material parameters of soil are attained. Then the radiuses of crushed area and cracked area are calculated for two kinds of explosives, which is in accordance with the experimental result. The conclusion that explosive with lower detonation velocity and higher heat of explosion can improve the synthetical damage effect for underground explosion is obtained. The conclusion has reference value for choosing explosive of penetration and blast warhead and evaluating the destroy effect.
