Experiment and Simplified Model of Combustion and Propulsion of Bulk-Loaded Energetic Liquid
The small caliber combustion and propulsion device of bulk-loaded liquid propellant is designed. Using stepped-wall chamber, the problem of combustion stability of bulk liquid has been studied. The results show that the consistency of p-t curves and the stability of combustion are better by means of 3- step-chamber. Based on above experiments, a simplified mathematic model of interior ballistic of bulk-loaded liquid propellant gun has been developed. The numerical simulation is well matched with the experimental results.
