Misfire Causes Analysis and Prevention of Emulsion Explosivein Shaft Freezing Section
Emulsion explosive have well frost resistance and power, it is wildly used in vertical shaft. But because of pressure desensitization influence of emulsion explosives, there are many misfires, it is influences the safety and effect of blasting seriously. According to characters of misfires in construction of frozen zone blasting in vertical shaft, possible reasons of misfire are analyzed as follow: one is frost resistance of explosive cant meet the challenge; second, dynamic pressure caused by blasting wave of pre-blasting hole to delay-blasting of adjacent hole; third, static pressure effect caused by volume increase when water freeze. Against those, we adopted air-decoupling charge with compression plastic tube and coupling charge in bulk, practical project was done after simulation experiment on ground, and gained well blasting effect.
